MISSISSAUGA INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
MAY 17 / 18 AND 19, 2008
The Mississauga Soccer Club cordially extends a
personal invitation to you and your club to participate in its 25th
Mississauga International Tournament to be held in Mississauga on May 17, 18
and 19, 2008.
The tournament is classified as a class
“O-INCC” tournament and is open to competitive boys and girl’s teams as
specified on the application form. As part of our tournament, we will be
featuring a Tier 1 and Tier 2, U-16, U-17, and U-18 boys and girls teams.
Tier 1 teams that will be featured are by invitation only, within the
Provincial and Elite divisions from U16-U18 boys and girls.
We will be utilizing all of our major fields
and artificial turf fields to provide you with an excellent opportunity to
have your players evaluated by CIS, NCAA, and NAIA coaches from Canada and
the U.S.A. All other teams will play in our regular tournament.
In 2007, the Tournament attracted 104 Boys
teams and 79 Girls teams. This year being our 25th anniversary year we
expect well over 200 teams.
U-11 through U-18 Boys &
Girls Competitive YOUTH club teams, and U-21, and Open age
Men & Women play 11 a-sides and are allowed a maximum of 18 dressed players
on their roster.
There will be a limit on the number of teams
in each age group. Please enter early so that you will not be disappointed.
The three-day event guarantees each team a
minimum of three games. All representative players must have individual’s
identification (current provincial / state player’s book.) Teams must be
registered with their District, Provincial, State or National Association.
Non-residents of Ontario must show proof of all players’ liability and
health insurance coverage.
All teams that are traveling outside of
their district to attend the tournament will be required to provide proof of
:
- Permission to travel
from their District Association
- Provincial
Association if from another Province
- National Association
if from another Country
This travel permit must be submitted 7 days prior to the start of the
Tournament.
The entry fee of $350.00 (no post
dated cheques) must accompany each team’s application. Closing date for
applications is May 8, 2008. Once accepted there are no refunds.
